Talk on “Childhood Beyond Drugs: Protection, Care and Reintegration”- Pataliputra Pragya Pravah Lecture series Bihar Lok Bhavan

Hon’ble Chief Justice of India, Justice Suryakant, delivered a lecture at Bihar Lok Bhavan under the Pataliputra Pragya Pravah series on ‘Childhood Beyond Drugs: Protection, Care and Reintegration’. He said that children affected by substance abuse need treatment, care, education and rehabilitation to help them return to a normal life.
In his special address, Hon’ble Governor Lt Gen Syed Ata Hasnain (Retd) said that substance abuse among children must be addressed by keeping their education, safety, family and future in focus. He called for coordinated efforts by all stakeholders and strict action against child exploitation and the drug trade.
