The Indian Red Cross Society, Bihar State Branch

The Indian Red Cross Society Bihar State Branch office is situated near Gandhi Maidan, Patna. This branch was incorporated under Indian Red Cross Society Act,1920( as amended by Act no.22 of 1956). This state branch has jurisdiction over entire state of Bihar. The Indian Red Cross Society works by the principle of international Humanitarian Law, for humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary Service etc. The mission and objective of this society is to prevent and alleviate sufferings with complete impartiality, making no discrimination as to nationality race, sex religious benefit, language, class etc. Governor is President of Indian Red Cross Society State Branch, Chairman of the State Branch is Dr. B.B. Sinha who has been elected by the managing Committee.
